The beer is a central character.

Here people drink when they're thirsty, sad or happy. Sometimes, they drink a lot.

We though : if we make it a character, we might get some free stuff, or a sponsor (who knows ?)

If you're short of food, you might just survive with a barrel of beer.
A beer is worth one steak. Or two if you get two beers.

Or three... Oh, you got the picture. Sure, I can shut up.
